A smart kitchen appliance connects to your Wi-Fi network, allowing you to monitor your cooking and control settings remotely via your phone.

Stay connected to your cooking with Wi-Fi-enabled smart technology. Control your smart appliances with simple voice commands using your Google Assistant or Alexa-enable device. Plus, conveniently preheat, bake, save custom cooking instructions, and keep a close eye on your creations—all through the KitchenAid app.

KitchenAid® smart appliances include ovens, microwaves, ranges, cooktops, and refrigerators.

Yes, your data is encrypted and protected. However, make sure to use strong passwords for both your Wi-Fi network and your KitchenAid® account to enhance your security.

Frequency Band: 2.4GHz Band IEEE 802.11 b/g/n
Tip: You must be on a 2.4GHz network frequency, 5GHz will not work. Please connect your phone to the Network SSID that supports 2.4GHz band. If unsure, consult your router’s support documentation to find out how to identify the correct SSID. Some routers will support both bands and share the same SSID and Password.

First, download the KitchenAid app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Then, select your appliance type and add your smart appliance. For more details, view this how-to guide.

  1. Make sure the appliance is powered on.
  2. Download the KitchenAid App and create an account.
  3. On the appliance, press the Remote Enable button.
  4. Verify the appliance screen shows Use the Kitchen®App to set up Wi-Fi.

  1. First check to see if your appliance is in the correct mode.
  2. If you see a countdown display on the appliance, it is in the wrong mode.
  3. Power the appliance off and then turn it on again.
  4. Press and quickly release the Wi-Fi Connect button. Do NOT hold for 3 seconds, even if the button says to do so.
  5. Return to the app to complete the connection steps.

  2. Confirm language by pressing Start (or follow the prompts to select another language).
  3. Download the KitchenAid App and create an account.
  4. On the appliance, press the Start button to begin Wi-Fi setup.
  5. Verify the appliance screen shows Use the KitchenAid App to set up Wi-Fi.

Get Connected

Setting up your Wi-Fi-enabled appliances

Follow these steps to connect your smart kitchen appliances to your home network. Once connected, you can monitor and control them from the KitchenAid app.

STEP 1

Download the app

Download the KitchenAid app from your mobile device to get your Wi-Fi-enabled appliances connected. The app will guide you through your next steps.

STEP 2

Create an account & sign in

You'll need to create an account. This is so we can associate your appliance with your account and give you the ability to view and control Wi-Fi-enabled appliances remotely.

STEP 3

Add & connect your appliance

Select your appliance type. Scan the product QR code or enter the SAID & MAC address, located on a sticker or the appliance display.



New products will be auto-recognized once powered on and logged into the KitchenAid app. From there, the app will walk you through the final steps to connect.
