36" 585 or 1170 CFM Motor Class Commercial-Style Wall-Mount Canopy Range Hood

Equip your kitchen with a powerful 36-inch wall-mount canopy range hood designed to pair with 36-inch KitchenAid® Commercial-Style Ranges and Rangetops. A 90,000 BTU rating allows this vent hood to keep up with high-heat cooking on multiple burners. Two food warming heat lamps hold cooked items at serving temperature for up to an hour while you finish other dishes.

Four-Speed Fan

Features low, medium, high and power boost settings, so you can choose the right fan speed for every cooking adventure, from gentle simmering to high-heat searing.

Power Boost Function

Assists high-heat cooking by activating maximum fan speed for five minutes to help quickly clear smoke and steam. This function turns on automatically if the hood's sensor detects high-heat cooking on multiple burners and can also be activated manually.

Automatic Turn On

Provides intuitive assistance to help keep smoke and steam from building up in the kitchen. If the hood's sensor detects high-heat cooking on multiple burners while the controls are off, it will automatically turn on the fan and set it to Power Boost.

Two Food Warming Lamps

Radiate heat downwards to hold cooked items at serving temperature for up to an hour, allowing you to focus on other steps in your creative process or finish one dish while another rests.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Live and learn from I thought I was buying the best My hood came without a motor! No where on the website did it instruct me to order a separate motor. The hood was expensive and professional, but the motor was an additonal $900. The upper extension is not the prettiest as it has a scratch line where the extension adjusts for varying ceiling height. I bought a pot filler and had to return it because it would not fit under the hood in the space allotted. I wish the site would have indicated what to do for regular ceiling heights.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Daniel frustrated from Good hood, terrible filter design The hood itself works well. HOWEVER - removing and replacing the baffle filters is nearly impossible. The instructions don't help, and good luck finding a video to guide you. It's not at all clear from the diagrams exactly how the filters are supposed to sit in the hood, as you seemingly need to defy the laws of physics to fit the filter into the tracks. Please help, Kitchenaid!

Rated 2 out of 5 by n23132 from Lights flicker Lights flicker. Kitchenaid says this is normal? Looks nice and is fairly quiet. It's brand new - just installed a couple of weeks ago. The lights flicker, so we had a service company look at it. They called Kitchenaid customer service and were told that this is normal. Lights on a brand new appliance should not flicker - ever. Telling us this is normal is like saying that it's defective on purpose. For this price, it's really not acceptable to have a defect built it. There are plenty of other hoods out there that work properly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bianca123 from Filter hard to insert I've had this hood for 2 years and it works ok. Builds up grease fairly easily, which isn't a problem because it's easy enough to clean. The issue is to put the filters back on. I dread this every time. It is cumbersome, I can never do it right. My husband sometimes gets it on with brute force. We've looked a the instructions many times but can't figure out an easy way to make put it back in. Once it's in, it fits like a glove. Wish this part was easier.
