Deep angled design fits 5" glasses, mugs and bowls, allowing 30% more capacity.* It features designated wash jets to clean items in the rack and a removable utensil tray with specialized coating that helps repel water for fast drying.

Door-Open Dry System

Automatically opens after the cycle to allow hot air out and fresh air to circulate within, making it KitchenAid brand's most energy efficient dry system*.

Additional Features

Triple Filtration System

Uses three levels of filtration to remove food particles during the wash and rinse cycles. This ensures clean water circulates through the wash arms and onto dishes, even with dirty cookware.

Wash Cycle Countdown

Conveniently projects an easily readable LED countdown below the dishwasher onto the floor, so you always know the status of the cycle and how much time is left. When illumination disappears, wash is complete.

Leak Identification System

Helps detect most types of leaks and includes a drip tray underneath. If the system detects a problem, the dishwasher can stop filling, drain the tub and alert that service is needed.*

ProWash™ Cycle

Uses sensors to measure soil levels throughout the cycle and adapts wash time and water temperature as needed for tough messes or lighter loads, because no two meals or the dishes that result are exactly the same.

Integrated Water Softener

Helps in preventing scale buildup and water streaks in homes without soft water systems. Self-regenerating salt system should be activated upon installation if desired.*

Pre-Rinse Option

Helps overcome the need to hand rinse before loading the dishwasher by washing away small easy-to-remove soils for optimized cleaning performance during the main wash cycle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ivparker from Your dishes will be clean! I always find it interesting when people keep a dishwasher where they have to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. You will not have to do that with this Kitchen Aid. Everything comes out clean and dry. I am pretty hard on my dishwashers as I have a very large family so we are running it at least twice a day. This is a great dishwasher!

It is very well-made and cleans so much better than the previous one that we owned from another manufacturer. The last one was not very old, but did not clean well. This one leaves our dishes spotless, even on the normal cycle. I love the door open drying option as it allows any water that may pool on top of a bowl or cup to evaporate before I have to put it away. It also projects a timer on the floor to show how long the cycle has left to complete. Our house has an open living room/kitchen area and you can't hear the dishwasher running. The only way we know it's on is when we see the timer. Great dishwasher and I highly recommend it to anyone.

I paid for the unit to be installed but the person was not trained and did not install the dishwasher, so I had to install it. It’s not that bad but being a new design it had some different installation requirements that some time to figure out. If I had to do another one today I could do it in a lot less time.

Is energy efficient and it only takes around $34 a year to run?. I also really like that it has three rows for dishes instead of two. The best feature about this dishwasher is that when the cycle ends, the door automatically opens so it can finish drying.
