They are very stiff and mix more efficiently than the beaters that came with my hand mixer. A worthy upgrade or replacement!

Aside from their sleek look, I find that they speed up my mixing time substantially and make it easy to clean the side of the bowl while doing so. They are also much quieter than the metal mixers I have. With the silicone, I don’t have to worry about scratching up any of my dishes either. They can be slightly more difficult to clean, but I think they are worth it. I would definitely recommend these mixers to anyone with a kitchen aid hand mixer.

I love my flex edge paddle for my stand mixer, so I was super excited to see them finally available as a hand mixer version. They work hard and do exactly what you’d expect. I get a cleaner, smoother mix, with less spray on the sides. I don’t have to use a spatula to scrape the sides anymore, and that makes me so happy. Grab these for your utensil drawer, especially if you do a lot of mixing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tara89 from These surprised me! I wasn’t expecting these flex edge beaters to be as successful as they were. First off they really quiet the entire process down. You couldn’t hear the metal clanking against the bowl which is really great if you for kiddos napping. Secondly, they scrape along the sides and bottoms so you don’t have to keep stopping and scrapping with a spatula. It helps too when you don’t want to over beat the mix and it’s doing two jobs for you. These will definitely become my number one beaters for all my baking needs. I plan on ordering my mom and sister a pair for Christmas!

They're a nice upgrade from the regular metal beaters that came with my mixer. NOTE: These are metal, but have a rubber coating on them.

I like the rubber end to it so it can scrape the batter from the edges of the bowl when mixing without it scratching or making loud noises compared to my old one.
